TRANSITION TOWN PECKHAM MEETING
Tuesday 11 AUG, 7pm
Peckham Settlement, Goldsmith Road, SE15 5TF

TTP is a new Transition Town for SE15. We are aiming to build a more sustainable community in Peckham to improve the environment and the lives of everyone in the community.

On 11 Aug, we will be giving a short talk, followed by a 50 min short film – “The Power of Community”. The film is a documentary showing how Cuba began a slow recovery and focused not on finding new energy sources, but on rejecting consumption in favour of sustainable growth.
This is transition at work – it shows that it can be done! We hope that it will inspire our members and build confidence in what we are trying to do in Peckham.
We also want our members to get to know each other, and to encourage new people to get involved. So we will be inviting people for a few drinks and a meet and greet after the film. Please tell your friends and neighbours to come along and get to know TTP.
