Camberwell College of Arts, Wilson Road, London SE5 8LU.

The Symposium will explore some of the themes of The Peckham Experiment exhibitions and projects, curated by Rachael House and Jo David. The Peckham Experiment exhibition is inspired by the original radical wellbeing and health study of the same name, which ran from 1926-1950. The first part of the exhibition is showing at Camberwell Space at Camberwell College of Art. The second part is at Space Station Sixty-Five. The symposium will become part of The Peckham Experiment publication, to be launched after the exhibition.

Morning session will be chaired by Ben Perry and includes-

Jini Rawlings film A Pool of Information,
discussion and questions from the floor.

Lunch – a vegetarian sandwich lunch will be provided,
and there will be information about local community and arts organisations.
Afternoon session includes-
Kit Poulson performance We’re too lazy for the future, artists’ panel including Gayle Chong Kwan, Nicholas Cobb, Dean Kenning, Annie Whiles and Jo David, discussion and questions from the floor and a closing session from Gayle Chong Kwan.
The symposium will finish at Camberwell Space with a glass of wine or juice and an opportunity to see part one of The Peckham Experiment exhibition.
