plan for alley alongside Peckham Multi Plex cinema

email to Peckham Town Centre Forum

please see email below about a young people’s project to brighten up, with mirrors and lights, the alley alongside the Peckham Multi Plex. If it is the right plan, this would be very beneficial to our town centre, and especially in the summer with all the thousands of visitors to the Hannah Barry Gallery and Frank’s Cafe. They will soon be applying for planing permission, so NOW is the time to get your views in about the proposals, to give the project the benefit of our local knowledge. Read more of this post

streetscape design consultation

Message to Town Centre Forum

* The Council is consulting on the streetscape design manual. See more
information below.
* The deadline for comments is 18 April.
* The documents and background can be found here: http://www.southwark.gov.uk/info/200083/roads_highways_and_pavements and click on streetscape design in the left hand column.

We need to consider how it will help to improve the quality of the streetscape in Peckham town centre so that the quality of the experience for pedestrians and shoppers is much improved. Can you look at it and send in your views about it from that perspective?

New Gallery London (92 Peckham Road – opposite Southampton Way).

Save Honor Oak Park Recreation Ground

Message from Friends of Honor Oak Park Recreation Ground

Southwark Council want to turn our Recreation Ground into more burial space. A decision will be made in March so time is running out. Please can you pass on the information below to your members. Should you want any additional information please email us and we would be happy to send it to you.

The Honor Oak Park Recreation Ground is off of Brenchley Gardens and is designated by Southwark as one of the borough’s smaller parks, as is Goose Green and Brenchley Gardens.  Hopefully you will support our efforts to protect this green space and ask your members to sign the petition on:  http://honoroakparkrecreationground.blogspot.com/     Read more of this post
