MESSAGE FROM PECKHAM SPACE

BECOME A PART OF HISTORY!
Contribute your stories and memories of North Peckham to our interactive map and become part of the Southwark Archive. Do you remember the North Peckham Estate? Did you live on North Peckham Estate or know someone that did? Do you remember the high-rise walkways?

Peckham Space in Peckham Square is currently showing Slipstream by artist David Cotterrell, a film which takes residents stories as its starting point and explores social, geographical and personal histories of North Peckham.

Slipstream by David Cotterrell  24 May – 30 July 2011

The exhibition includes an interactive map to which we are adding stories and memories of North Peckham   We would like to invite you to contribute your stories and memories to this project. The questions below might help you to tell us your story about the area.

DO YOU REMEMBER THE NORTH PECKHAM ESTATE?
Please use these questions as prompts and write below your memories of the North Peckham Estate. We will add your responses (and scan your pictures if you have any) to our interactive map as part of our exhibition Slipstream by David Cotterrell. At the end of the exhibition your stories will
