planning Peckham – local discussions

Life goes on, alongside the aftermath of disorders, as local people continue to work together with the Council to plan Peckham’s future. There are some further Council consultation events on the Peckham & Nunhead Area Action Plan (PNAAP) in the next couple of weeks. These are excellent opportunities to find out more about planning the area’s future and also to get your views across, especially on some specific topics:

TUESDAY 16th August @ Peckham Space, Peckham town square
10am – 5pm – drop in anytime
4pm – 5pm : design workshop

WEDNESDAY 24th August @ PeckhamPlex cinema 95a Rye Lane
3pm – 9pm – drop in anytime

WEDNESDAY 24th August @ Bussey building 133 Rye Lane
5.30pm – 6.30pm : housing discussion
6.30pm – 9.00pm : retail, business, jobs discussion

So if you want to take part in a discussion on:

* the design of our built environment, eg building heights, town centre buildings, streetscape, heritage conservation, urban design including open spaces, come on Tues 16th August 4pm @
Peckham Space.

* all aspects of housing including density, how many dwellings, what type, who for, and site locations, come on Wed 24th August 5.30pm – 6.30pm @ Bussey building.

* everything to do with retail, shopping, businesses, jobs, training, local economy etc come on Wed 24th August 7.30pm – 9.00pm @ Bussey building.
