A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer is an evening of poignant and passionate storytelling and features fabulous local people including award winning broadcaster, journalist and singer Jumoké Fashola, plus talented local non-professional and amateur actors, and a few other notable performers including hilarious stand-up comedienne Ninia Benjamin (Three Non Blondes, Celebrity Scissorhands etc).

The bulk of funds raised will go to Southwark’s Bede House – to support their work in the domestic violence sector. The remaining funds will go to the international V Day charity, their spotlight this year is on Haiti – and building shelters for women in distress there.

This is a show in Peckham, for Peckham people, with Peckham people in it, plus a heap of amazing local volunteers and supporters, and we’re dead excited about it!
