2-4 August: exhibition in Old Waiting Room – can you volunteer to help?

Message from Peckham Vision:

We are very pleased to let you know that we are arranging an exhibition about the town centre in the Old Waiting Room in Peckham Rye station on 2nd – 4th August as a Peckham Rye Lane contribution to the Cultural Olympiad.

This will be a much longed for chance to come and get a glimpse of one of Peckham’s hidden architectural gems. It will be some time before the Old Waiting Room is ready for permanent use. So it is a unique and short opportunity to immerse yourself in this atmospheric space, learn more about Peckham’s buildings and past, and find out about hopes and plans for Peckham’s future.

We need committed volunteers to help us for this exhibition: can you spare a few hours during the afternoon or or evening on Thurs 2nd Aug or Fri 3rd Aug, or morning or afternoon on Sat 4th Aug?

Please note the exhibition times for your diary:
Thurs 2nd Aug 5pm – 9pm.
Fri 3rd Aug 1pm – 9pm.
Sat 4th Aug 11am – 3pm.

There will be talks and more each day. Further details will be available in July.
