PNAAP workshop 12 November

My earlier email gave information about the 33 development sites in the PNAAP: links to the map and site details are in that email – http://goo.gl/UaghW. You can look at the map to see if there are any sites of interest to you.   We have now arranged a workshop about what comments are appropriate in this final consultation stage on the development sites and on the wide ranging policies in the PNAAP, including the town centre, enterprise, community well being, transport & traffic, homes, natural environment, design and heritage.

The PNAAP (Peckham & Nunhead Area Action Plan) is out for consultation until 4 December. There are two main parts of the PNAAP to think about: 

Urgent – saving the Ivy House venue for the community

MESSAGE FROM Stuart Hall, Peckham Society

As you may or may not know The Ivy House pub on Stuart Road in Nunhead has been closed for the last few months; this remarkable pub and music venue, recently listed by English Heritage for its architectural importance, has been sold on for redevelopment – like so many other south London pubs. 

Queens Rd Peckham station improvements

MESSAGE FROM SOUTHWARK COUNCIL

Queen’s Road Peckham station is changing:
* New station entrance and retail
* New public plaza
* Step free access
* London Overground services coming soon (9th December 2012)

PNAAP: summary report

The PNAAP (Peckham & Nunhead Area Action Plan) is now in its final consultation stage. The text of the final ‘submission’ version of the PNAAP is available on the web: http://www.southwark.gov.uk/futurepeckham  The published version will be available after 24 October, after the Council Assembly has formally approved the document for consultation.
