Fri 26 July – Peckham at the V&A

Message from Peckham Vision
The magnificent V&A (Victoria & Albert) museum has invited Peckham to take over this Friday evening 26th July 6.30-10pm! Admission free. Peckham’s wide ranging arts and creative world will be showing what it can do.  The V&A curator of the evening asked Peckham Vision to recreate one of our local community events for a session.
Join local resident, and co-ordinator of community group Peckham Vision, Eileen Conn and be part of this community art performance, as we take a visual tour of Peckham’s diverse parallel communities and economies. Have a lively discussion about increasing the connections between them for the benefit of Peckham, and our town centre.

If you haven’t been to the V&A before, this is a great opportunity to experience one of our national treasures, and once in a lifetime paired with Peckham.

Join us for the second in a series of Friday Lates that invites London’s creative communities to take over the Museum for an evening, presenting a range of music, art, design, architecture and more.
All events are free and places designated on a first come, first served basis, unless stated otherwise. Filming and photography will be taking place at this event.
