REDEVELOPMENT OF AYLESHAM CENTRE AND MORRISON’S
There were two developers’ meetings in November to tell local people about the future development of the Aylesham Centre. There will be more activities but we now wait to hear what will happen next. This is THE major development of Peckham town centre and it is important for many local people to be involved in the discussion. To keep informed get on to their email list: info@ayleshamcentrepeck

FLAXYARD & SUMNER HOUSE DEVELOPMENT
News just in – planning application for comments before New Year on large new housing development on the green space behind the High Street. See info and links here: http://peckhampeculiar.tumblr.com/post/154115578679/council-begins-consultation-on-168-new-flats

PECKHAM LIBRARY SQUARE
The Planning Committee gave permission for the new plans for Peckham Library Square including the demolition of the Arch and the building of a 4 to 6 storey modern block on historic Peckham High Street. There were over 100 objections.

COPELAND ROAD CAR PARK HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
This is one of three large separate sites being redeveloped for housing in one cluster at the south of Rye Lane. This one is on the site of the Copeland Road car park. It is adjacent to the large development on the former car wash site, and the proposed large development on Lobo’s fish factory fronting onto Rye Lane. These three developments together will transform that part of the Rye Lane Conservation Area for the worse. They will tower over the three storey buildings on Rye Lane and the two storey Atwell Restate. See pictures and planning officer’s report here: http://goo.gl/kAWuqc

WALKABOUT IN CENTRAL RYE LANE
Thanks to all who have responded to our survey for volunteers for Peckham Vision. We are now working through the results. As part of our response we are thinking of leading a Central Rye Lane walkabout followed by discussion in our Bussey studio on Saturday 17th December midday to 2.30pm. If you would be interested please email info@peckhamvison.org to reserve a place. There are many volunteering opportunities of varying kinds in Peckham Vision’s work. If you are interested in more information do please email us.

ROAD WORKS INFORMATION
This is a link to a useful TfL Roadwork’s website: http://public.londonworks.gov.uk/roadworks/?x=7afhrNuhHWCZ0ziiHw8mVA
The site allows you to find out where, when, how long and who is doing road works in your area in the following 3 months. If road works interruptions are getting on your nerves, you can find out who is responsible here!

Best wishes for Christmas and other seasonal greetings
