BLENHEIM ARCHES STUDIOS
Tucked away beneath the railway arches in Blenheim Court are the Arches Studios, which house a cluster of creatives from sculptors to screen printers. Our work with them in 2012-14, helped to save them from the total clear out plans that were produced by the Council and Network Rail in 2013/14 for the station developments. That was a great example of local community working together. Their Christmas open house this year in December is:
Fri 2nd 6pm-9pm; Sat 3rd 11am-5pm; Sun 4th 11am-5pm; Sat 10th 11am-5pm.
It is “the perfect place to find a truly unique gift.”

RAIL SERVICES TO LONDON BRIDGE, BLACKFRIARS, ST PANCRAS & BEYOND
Do you travel by train from Peckham Rye station or from another local station on a service that goes through Peckham Rye? Please support the improvements proposed (see below): complete the survey by 5pm on 8th DECEMBER: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/2018timetableconsultation.
This relates to the services through Peckham Rye that go to and from London Bridge, and to and from Blackfriars, St Pancras and beyond. Many of these services are now overcrowded and not frequent enough. GTR (Govia Thameslink Railway) is currently consulting on its 2018 rail timetable once the Thameslink construction works are all complete.

There are welcome changes being proposed for services going through Peckham Rye. But to make sure they happen, WE NEED TO SUPPORT THEM BY COMPLETING THE SURVEY (link above).  The changes are:

ST PANCRAS via Blackfriars (pages 13-16, p21 in ‘Timetable Consultation doc’ – see ## below)
* there will be an increase all day (on the Catford Loop Line via Peckham Rye) from 2tph to 4tph (trains per hour).
* during Mon-Fri peaks, all 4tph will be direct through Blackfriars, two to Luton and two to Welwyn Garden City.
* off peak, on 2tph (Sevenoaks service) you will need to change at Blackfriars, while the other 2tph (Orpington service) will run all day through to Kentish Town.

LONDON BRIDGE (pages 41-44, p51/52 in Timetable Consultation doc)
* this will remain at 4tph off peak; there will be more peak trains (increase over 6tph) from additions on the Wimbledon line.
* the service to West Croydon will be diverted via East Croydon off peak to Caterham via Selhurst. (Effective restoration of services to East Croydon, lost some years ago.)

These are welcome improvements to the services. If you use them, please complete the survey to support them. If the survey questions are unclear put your comments and support in one of the comment boxes making it clear which services you are referring to.

## Click here for more detailed information about the consultation:
http://www.southernrailway.com/your-journey/timetable-consultation and click where it says: **Please download the document with all the details – Timetable Consultation document**
This is a 71 page doc covering many different services across Thameslink. The pages for Peckham Rye are noted above against the St Pancras and London Bridge services.
If you want to talk to the 2018 Timetable Planning team about the details they will be present to speak to, at:
* London Bridge Tuesday 06 December 2016, 7.30-9.30am
* London St Pancras Thursday 08 December 2016, 7.30-9.30am
